Global Call for participants to take part in the upcoming international conference “Global Conversation 2021”

Our member of network SSCW has a pleasure to invite EuroMed Network members to take part in the upcoming international conference “Global Conversation 2021”. Under titel: “A green, socially sustainable and digitally integrated world, that takes place on 26-29th August 2021 in Narva, Estonia.
 
Global Conversation 2021 is a four-day international conference that will include an intensive program of high-level discussions, working groups about the achievement of the UN SDGs in societies with growing youth unemployment, intensifying climate change, and ever deeper economic, social and racial divisions. The conference will connect regional networks of practitioners, policy-makers, civil society organizations, media, and international donors in Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Americas.
 
The aim of the conference is to explore the implementation of the UN75 declaration and promote new international cooperation for the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, human and digital rights, intercultural dialogue, climate change, and Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) for COP 26.
The international event is open to all interested individuals, representatives from public, private, and civil society sectors, who are interested or working daily for implementation of UN SDG-s, including representatives from youth organizations, educational institutions, governmental organizations, national and regional human rights institutions and so on.
 
During the conference, the Tallinn Declaration will be finalized and approved, together with local Citizens’ action plans, which will be submitted to the UN General Assembly, European Commission, various international and governmental organizations, and the media.
 
The Conference program provides a great opportunity to explore the north coast of Estonia, in beautiful Narva and its neighborhood near Russian border (Ida-Virumaa County).
 
The official language is EnglishTranslation will be provided in French, Arabic, and Russian.
 
The conference is co-organized by a consortium of international partners from 15 countries and financed by European Regional Development Fund through the Estonian Development Fund, the European Commission, the Nordic Council of Ministers, the Estonian National Foundation of Civil Society, Tallink Grupp and others.
 
The seats are limited. Registration is open until 20 August 2021 or until all seats are booked.
 
The conference fee is 150 EUR, consisting of the entrance to the 4-day conference, accommodation for 3 nights in shared rooms of 3-4* hotel, meals  (lunch and dinners during official agenda), local transportation, conference materials, and the Estonia and International culture programs in the evenings (visiting museums, performances, concerts, receptions). You will see the north coast of Estonia and enjoy the diversity of Estonian green cultural life.
The conference fee does not cover any flight costs! Each participant is responsible for his own international flight arrival/departure.
This conference is designed as a hybrid event with most participants attending live but some, from COVID – 19 constrained countries, joining virtually.
The online participation in the conference is free and open to all interested, but please apply for online participation.
To ensure the best collaborative experience for all, the oline conference event will be limited to 50 participants.

We can guarantee your participation only if you have valid travel documents, flight tickets to Estonia, you confirm that you are healthy (no COVID-19 symptoms, vaccinated or/and negative PCR test on COVID 19) and you have been approved by organizers to take part in the conference.
